Pedro Fonseca

Pedro Fonseca is influenced by Jackson Pollock and defines his style as a blend of postmodernism with a pop art flair. Although his initial education was shaped by theoretical models of fine arts, he considers himself self-taught with an intuitive understanding of abstract technique, especially in mixed media arts.

He uses a lot of Action painting in his work, creating splashes that fill the images, informed by iconic faces, beautiful typographic fonts, and bright colors. His artwork always aims to define happiness, brightness, and all possible means to express how he sees life. He tries to show the best possible side of the iconic people and "normal" people he paints. His lifestyle helps him see happiness and goodness in everything around him!
