Jackson Carvalho

Jackson Carvalho is a contemporary artist born in 1968 in Brazil. He studied photography at various educational institutions, including the International Center of Photography (ICP) in New York. He also learned directly from renowned international masters such as Peter Coulson (Australia), Settimmio Beneducci (Italy), and C. Stephen Hurst (United States). 

Jackson also holds a degree in Marketing and is certified by Adobe as an expert in Photoshop and Lightroom. In his work, Jackson Carvalho combines balance and creativity with artworks focused on fusions and manipulations of traditional images, transporting the viewer to a universe of dreams, fantasies, dramas, and his own emotional load. The result is images that are a mix of beauty, absurdity, and chaos, refined with a dark atmosphere and metaphorical intelligence. 

Jackson's images are composed with an enhanced technique of light mastery and refined post-production. He has exhibited internationally in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Brazil.
